The default Apache server is I think called APACHEDFT. Both it and
DEFAULT listen on port 80 so you can't have both running at the same
time.

It's been a loooooong time since I set up an Original server but I think
it's under /QIBM/UserData somewhere. If you type in WRKHTTPCFG and press
enter, you'll see the default configuration.

FWIW, the Original HTTP server is a dead end (it goes away after V5R2).
The only good reason to even mess with it at this point is if you are
stuck on V4R5 or earlier.

Subject: [WEB400] problem with http instance

I was finally able to get the http instance to start up, original
default
http instance that is.....somehow I think the apache isntance would be
better, but for now just playing around.

Can anyone tell me where the default docs (*html) are stored? I know
that
the apache instance stores them in the IFS under htdocs....but I am
looking
for the default root location.

If you bought, it was hauled by a truck - somewhere, sometime.
