Frankly, the only reason I did that was because Douglas seemed to be on the wrong track. He already had ample time to try your suggestion, and hadn't -- so I thought a nudge was in order.

You did the right thing as he WAS off track. Actually I believe that he did what we so often do, ignore the obvious/simple problem and dive right into something unkown and/or difficult. You know: "Is it plugged in?" (ignored, followed by:) "I wonder if the power supply blew a fuse or something..?" Half an hour later "Hey, what does this cord go to?" :-)

Here's the worst part: I almost never can contribute much to this list so when I can I want to see my contibutions help someone!! :-)
