Peter,

I'm not certain this is what you're asking, but...

Checkbox values are ONLY required to the CGI program when they ARE CHECKED.
If they are NOT CHECKED, they are NOT RETURNED to the CGI program.
If you extract the "poim" value when the variables is NOT CHECKED, you will
not get a returned value in your CGI program.

Thanks for responding Tim:

My question however is: why I have to do that?  I thought that the 
"checkbox" logic is very straight forward: it requires to be "checked" in 
order to have a TRUE value.  My issue is that I do not know why is ALWAYS 
TRUE.

I have checked on the archives but I have not found anything yet about 
this issue and checking on other forums as well.  I am sure it might be a 
simple thing and I am extremely confused... :o(
