It may be a coincidence that I use Yahoo for email. It has a good spam
filter. But if they use PHP and MySQL, then that might explain why
performance is PATHETIC! Navigation to previous or next message in a
filtered list may take 30-45 seconds show a page.
Performance aside, the larger the application, the more unweildy a
scripting technology like PHP becomes. I don't envy the guys who have to
maintain the Web site.
