This seems to go on and on , and I don't know what it is.. Also, hard disk space has crept up by about 4% in past day??
I would be concerned, particularly by the confluence of the two phenomena. If I had to guess, a program is in a loop and building something huge in QTEMP, or a SQL statement is sucking up temporary resources big enough to require writing to disk. We have seen the latter when an inexperienced user joined two several very large files together and ended up with a huge result set in temporary storage. I would look at the joblog, open files, spooled files, etc. to get a handle on what it is doing. The status screen should tell you when it started and what user it is doing work for, which might also help. Good luck.
