IBM Support Assistant version 3

The IBM Support Assistant (ISA) is a free cross-product client application
that increases your capacity for self-help by making it easier to access
support resources and to manage problems you may be having with IBM
products. The ISA provides quick access to support related information
along with serviceability tools for problem determination. You can read
more about the IBM Support Assistant here:

Title: IBM Support Assistant v3 is available to help you
Link:
http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=688&uid=swg21235976&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en

Title: Software Support - IBM Support Assistant (ISA) Version 3
Link: http://www.ibm.com/software/support/isa/

The key benefits of ISA are:
1. Federated search for self-help information across multiple repositories
2. Access to centralized, Web based, self-help resources
3. Ability to open Electronic Support Requests (ESRs) over the Web
directly from within ISA, without having to call IBM Technical Support
first. (Version 3 adds ability to attach data to existing PMRs).
4. Ability to capture configuration data for inclusion in ESR, so you
don't have to explain or type in this info to a Support Engineer yourself.
5. New capability to run troubleshooting tools, e.g. dump analyzers, which
we plan to start creating for use with ISA.
