I use AJAX, but I'm just using good ol' RPG.  It's pretty simple.  The whole 
point of AJAX is too not use RPG to build the page.  Feed the page from the IFS 
and you can run AJAX from an onLoad or from a form submit or any event really.  
The RPG is then used to feed or process data.
