<<Our objective is to support the client(PC)/Server(AS400) environment, moving the entire presentation segment of the application out to the PCs.>> Are You speaking about an "pc" environment or a "browser" environment? I think the future is moving to browser client applications, because browser requires no installation and runs (the browsers) in any client device. Or are you wanting to run in an "pc windows" only environment, as .NET? If your interest is in the browser way I can suggest you the approach of RPG-CGI mainly by 3 reasons: 1.- you know and use RPG 2.- nothing to learn or install (apart from html, js, css, ....) 3.- less costs and machine in the client deployment As Nathan comments, Net.Data or php would be nice for easy reports, but why you will mix several toos if all can be done using RPG and Apache? Of course, the way of using AJAX (javascript) into HTML and RPG is an must-have in my oppinion, also. Regards, Guillermo. http://cpiS.es
