Mike,

It is possible (and pretty easy) to run PHP on a Windows PC. You'll need
to download PHP from http://www.php.net/ and also set up an HTTP server.
Make sure that you get the same (or at least similar) version of PHP
that you're running on your server. The PHP distribution has
instructions on how to get it to work through the HTTP server.

Subject: [WEB400] PHP executing on local Windows PC

Is it possible to run PHP code on a Windows XP or Vista PC? If you can
could the PHP code access DB@/400 over an ODBC interface? We currently
do some C# work when we have to have the application code running on a
PC but I only have one person on staff who knows C# as the rest
concentrate on i5 server side applications (RPG, CGI and Java). If I
added PHP to the server side teams toolset I am wondering if I could
replace the C# work with PHP also.
