Comments like "does it come with paging out of the box?"

What in the heck is wrong with a question like this being I have not used
EGL? If paging came with EGL out of the box I would consider it a huge
plus. I HAVEN'T found a framework with paging out of the box. If paging
didn't come out of the box I would consider it an easy article to write (and
maybe my intro to EGL).

I'm not; it's just that you're asking these annoying questions <grin>.

I don't mind you bad mouthing me Joe. As soon as I saw I was answering an
EGL related question I put on my Pluta armor. You ARE singling me out, why,
I don't know. I can take it. To quote those who have gone before me:

"You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I'm an
easy target. Yeah, you're right, I talk too much. I also listen too much. I
could be a cold-hearted cynic like you... but I don't like to hurt people's
feelings. Well, you think what you want about me; I'm not changing. I
like... I like me. My wife likes me. My customers like me. 'Cause I'm the
real article. What you see is what you get."

Anyway, in the future I'll try to restrain my annoyance and just pipe in
with the occasional "RTFM".

Ah, you deserve a bit better than that, I suppose. Okay, here's the deal.
You have consistently said that you won't use EGL because you don't have
time, yet you continue to make comments. Comments like "does it come with
paging out of the box?" You say that's just a question, but there's an
implied statement: that EGL should come with paging out of the box, like
some of the frameworks you work with.

The problem with that assumption is that EGL isn't a framework, it's a
platform independent model that uses model transformation to generate a
platform specific implementation. In simpler terms, EGL can generate COBOL
or Java, and use JSF or a thick client as its UI.

Anyway, I WILL try to avoid future comments, because it does look a little
bit like I'm singling you out. I'm not; it's just that you're asking these
annoying questions <grin>. But it is redundant, so I'll quit it. If you
haven't gotten around to running or at least reading the tutorials from Jon
Sayles' site, then you can pretty much assume what my response is.

Joe
