Wow, I can't hardly keep up with everything going on these days, even when
this "new" Comet stuff has literally been around for 10 years. Good to see
people are thinking about these things though.

I am not sure I entirely understand how Comet works around the async model
of not typing up ports yet maintaining a connected session. But as it
states later on in the wiki page, there are "Comet servers" being developed
around this concept to handle the issue with multi-threading. It seems
maybe it is re-threading the request to go to a secondary server with a
whole new set of ports because it is on a different IP? And with IPv6 maybe
this will become a feasible reality?

Thinking out loud: If Comet style programming becomes popular, then one
would think the most popular HTTP servers would pick up the "new
capabilities" of Comet, and of course Apache would be a front runner there.
And being we have Apache on the System i and RPG recently gained the status
of "thread safe" I wonder what the possibilities might be? This just wreaks
for fun to be had in creating GUI RPG apps with a simple pseudo DDS
protocol.

On a last note, this meebo app is pretty darn cool for tying together all
