I am working on my first EGL app. I exported it from WDSc (http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l/200803/msg00017.html) and deployed it to a WebSphere Application Server Express server. My application is giving me the following:
Error 500: java.lang.LinkageError: LinkageError while defining class: jsfhandlers.Master Could not be defined due to: jsfhandlers/Master This is often caused by having a class defined at multiple locations within the classloader hierarchy. Other potential causes include compiling against an older or newer version of the class that has an incompatible method signature.
First, I got this with a date of 03/05/2008, so you might want to check your clock. And if your clock is bad, other things might be happening.

Did you stop and re-start WAS? I'm concerned especially with the wrong date of your machine that WAS may have an older version of your code included. You're not getting Class Not Found, so your EAR file is probably correctly built. Instead you're getting the dreaded Linkage errors which almost always mean something is messed up in your deployment.
