Interesting question.  You can certainly invoke a REXX procedure on the 
host, since it's just a call to the STRREXPRC command.  It might take a 
little flirting around with CL to actually invoke thwe command, but it's 
pretty simple.

Also, although I've never done it I believe you can invoke a REXX 
procedure via a stored procedure call, so that would mean you could 
invoke it from EGL.

But that;s the limit of my knowledge for now, Dave: as much as I love 
REXX and EGL, I haven't yet tried to integrate the two!
