Regarding the link I posted to file xpn100p.savf, you should be able to:

crtsavf qgpl/xpn100p

then use ftp to:

ftp> bin
ftp> put xpn100p.savf

Or if it would be easier to work with a comma separated file:

http://www.radile.com/rdweb/temp/xpn100p.txt

This is an alternative to embedding a check-box in each
row for record selection, and streamlines the interface a
little, for example.

It does, but you have to ask yourself:

1) How does this work from a mobile device? Not that it doesn't, but is
it as simple as the check box?
2) How does this work from an accessibility point of view.
3) Are users as familiar w/it? Will they be as productive? Everyone
knows and understands the checkbox paradigm, yours requires
instructions.

Still, good approach overall. BTW, what's the database? Care to share a
copy of the data so we can use it for other examples?
