Yep, cross platform (IBM and non-IBM), looks and acts like other modern languages, easy to use, easy to learn, MUCH help via MANY forums, IBM books, etc. So, Joe, I don't think your correct on this one (but it doesn't warrant lots of discussion) when you look at the REXX that's used on MANY other platforms.

BTW, I'd also look at EGL if the cost of entry was in my price range. The basic architecture sounds good.
