Well, I was kind of basing my algorithm on last week's discussion of CAPTCHA, where readability plays a role. It's not like encryption.

So if you limit the alphabet to about 6 consonants and 6 vowels and doubled the vowel weight, the generated strings would probably look something like Tongan :-)

But if you need something more globally unique, then I think a string based on a timestamp would be better.
