Amen to that - I've been using the Mac in this way (except I use Parallels as the VM) for over 15 months now. It is _wonderful_ being able to see Windows software go belly up knowing everything else will be unaffected. Interestingly I have far fewer Windows explosions running in the VM than when I was running native Windows. Of course that could simply be the fact that the registry doesn't get filled with cr*p because I run native Mac for most things.
