Aaron,

Sorry about the honey-do list! It was my anniversary yesterday so i was scrambling to get a few things off the list as well, which spilled over into this morning......

I thought the source was in the zip download but perhaps not. It IS open source. I have a few things more on the "anniversary" list to do and my in laws are coming into town for the holidays but I'll see if I can get the source wrapped up and available by tomorrow. It *should* have been there.

The web site itself is still a little shaky since I moved stuff over to the JS12 blade a few weeks ago. I haven't checked all my web sites that the JS12 is running now and I haven't set up the Demo user profile for web5250. But, you did the right thing: Deploy the war to an existing Tomcat server on your local network, change the IP references in the web.xml and then give it a whirl on your own box.

I'll post when I have the source in the package. Sorry about that.

Pete

After Niels responded I decided I needed to finally try web5250. Wow
mama, that is just cool! The install was quite simple without any
hiccups (took less than 5 minutes to setup and connect to my AS400).

I will not be getting anything done on my honey-do list this Saturday
- thanks a lot Pete ;-)

BTW, another use for it is with the Blackberry. I was able to load
the the sign-in screen from the one you are hosting. If anybody else
wants to bring it up on their handheld then go to this URL directly:
http://www.web5250.com/web5250/Servlet5250

Pete, am I correct in understanding web5250 is open source? If so, I
didn't see the Java code anywhere in the .war nor could I find it in
the SF CVS repository for tn5250j.
