Yep. It software created for mostly local government but I don't see why it couldn't be used for civilian applications. The company name is Sungard. Their software runs on the i and Windows combined. That is to say there is part that runs on the i and part, the web part, that runs from a Windows server which in my case is on a IXS "blade" under a partition of the i.

The software allows customers to sign up for the online bill pay service for everything from utility payments to business license fees and then use with MC, VISA, Discover or AMEX to pay their bill. You don't have to use all those CCs, just what you want. You get it to work with two pieces, the CC validation piece and the broker/banker piece. Often the CC validation is via Verisign, owned now by Paypal, aka Ebay but none of your customers knows that nor has to have a PayPal account. Their account is only with your business. The broker/banker piece is who parcels your payment out to the various CC vendors and banks. Not that hard to set up.

Or if you want to roll your own, you can follow the Sungard model. But build might be more cost, trouble and time than buy if the Sungard software will do what you like.
