At the 10k level, a page might include 10 links, each
with "ONMOUSOVER", "OndblClick", "OnClick" and "onmouseout" and I don't
consider this verbose.

10k is not verbose.

I am glad that you agree on this. However I am not sure that I understand
your questions. The sizes that I quoted are the total page sizes. There are
no extras required. What handlers do you mean? I may be able to cut the
code size using CGIDEV2 when compared with WSG as some of the Javascript
code under WSG is simply there to modify the way WSG works. However, I
don't see that the change will be that dramatic, and, as I wish to use
standard HTML and JavaScript and a standard browser, without loading
anything special onto the client, I don't have any bright ideas for a
significant reduction in code size.

Have you some ideas?

Rob

However, what w/all the handlers? And can you apply
them client side w/observe and trim that code size significantly?
