Jim,

Good luck with that!

I honestly do not know if you can get DW to talk to an i5. You might be
better off finding the customer a really nice GUI FTP client.

On the other hand, Zend Studio for Eclipse i5 Edition will talk to an
i5, will debug scripts on i5 and interfaces with Zend Core for i5 and
Zend Framework. All for no charge! I'm guessing they like DW but there
may be an alternative out there.

Regards,

Mike

further info - I re-read the request:
... the third-party plug-in I use within Dreamweaver for the PHP form
requires me to have a connection to the host server so it can write the
proper code on the PHP output..... so, in order for me to get the form
working, I have to setup a connection through Dreamweaver....

Have a customer whose web developer is using Dreamweaver PHP which has

it's own internal ftp and wants to "synchronize" the placement of code
in
our ifs for Apache to run. Sounds fine to me but so far he does not
have
it working yet. Anything to watch out for? does it understand our IFS?
(and he wants to do it tonight..
