Like others have said. I'm using sftp (SSH) instead of FTP, and it works very well.

I probably could monkey around with FTP and get it to work, but... why? SFTP works nicely, and it's much more secure, and works better via firewalls/NAT... it's just a better tool for this, IMHO.
