Guillermo - forgot to say that this is being done with ASP on an IIS server - mea culpa!! I'm not sure I have SSIs available at the server - the contract is a pretty low-cost one.

The pages actually use something like this - and I think I'll go that way, as I don't have a lot of time, and the "include" pieces are not too large. This way, all links will point to the full ASP files, with those includes.

We're using both approach in different web applications. for the environment
you're in the sample I think SSI will work very well.
