Seeing this reminded me that the other day in order to avoid the
complexities of loading phpMyAdmin on a system that I may not have
access to for very long I tried a "competitor" that I had discovered
in this month's PHP Architect - Adminer.
For those who like easy installs this is it! Copy one - yes one - php
script into your htdocs directory - or anywhere else you like - call
the script - done!
Not quite as pretty or as intuitive and interface as phpMyAdmin but
blazingly fast and every bit as easy once you get used to it. And yes
it dynamically recognized the new DB2 storage engine and allowed me to
create new tables in DB2 which I then entered new data in before then
using in my RPG code etc.
Price - free!
Ease of install - priceless!

We used PHPMYADMIN to change the SUGARCRM USER file from MYISAM back
to IBMDB2I and sure enough, MYSQL put it back on the Iseries. We
did not have to reinstall SUGARCRM.
