Our problem is that the As/400/i5/I is a foreign box to the IT staff that
knows the Microsoft platform only. So if they have an AS/400 there with the
other servers running Microsoft, they are doing everything they can to get
rid of the AS/400. Never mind that nobody there touches the AS/400, and it
just runs. But they want rid of it because they do not want to learn it. And
you have to get rid of the vendors that have software on it first. So we go
out first.
We all can go on and on about our beloved machine, but it falls on deaf
ears with that group.
