Yeah. That is what I did. The error log showed a bunch of files that could not be read, most of them in the /pextWebSTD/hotdocs/ folder, which was empty.

I didn't see any wrinkles in the install. I don't think that running IBM i 6.1 would be the issue either but in any case, something was messed up and I don't have the time at the moment to dig deeper.

Here's what I ended up doing:

RSTLIB SAVLIB(POWEREXT) DEV(*SAVF) SAVF(QGPL/POWEREXT)

call powerext/pxinstall

STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(PEXTWEBSTD)

Then point your browser at http://<as400ip>:1502

Aaron,

I downloaded and installed it but I can't get it to run. However,
walking through the code, it is well done.

The web site forum has had very little traffic, reflecting what I posted
about yesterday: Trying to get the word out in the IBM i world can be
difficult without an organization like IBM or Common promoting it.

Thanks for this! When I get a chance I'll spend some time in this code
and in yours to see where I can contribute.

Pete
