Open source. It is our only hope. If the system was open sourced we
could add features such as the replacement of spooled files with PDF
files. Where your RPG program prints as normal, only the output is not
a spooled file, it is a PDF file located on the IFS. And the
implementation of the output queue is changed/simplified as a database
table / IFS hybrid.
