I.e. what does it take from start to stop?

There are too many variables to really give you a good estimate on that.
For one, you have no control over the remote web service and how fast it
responds.

Just for now (and the archives). Given a WSDL what is the overhead in
addition to the raw SOAP request time on the wire? I.e. what does it
take from start to stop?
