So this is what I have now in my PHP file:

<table width="100" border="1" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1"
bgcolor="#eeeeee">
<tr>
<td><b>Application Status</b></td>
</tr>
<tr bgcolor=#ffffff>
<td><?php print("$AppStatus"); ?></td>
</tr>
</table>

I'd like to just reference the variable ($AppStatus) in the HTML without the
PHP stuff around it. Technical description, I know.

I'd like something like this:

<table width="100" border="1" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1"
bgcolor="#eeeeee">
<tr>
<td><b>Application Status</b></td>
</tr>
<tr bgcolor=#ffffff>
<td>$AppStatus</td>
</tr>
</table>

Is that possible?

Thanks!
