Hi Aaron,

well you may argue that any statement written in non binary code is a
blackbox,
but .... whenever you create a method or subprocedure - and specially
where we
talk about data conversion - and the input to the method/subprocedure
becomes more
complicated that doing the same job in plain code (as you go along and is
extending
it to your needs) you are actually BOAC (better of a camel) ;-)

I guess at this point I am lost, because I thought you were in
disagreement
of creating black boxes that cover a lot of functionality (i.e. the 80% I
was talking about). But it seems your boxes are even blacker than mine if
you are at 95%. Maybe you could explain a scenario of what you mean by
95/5
% - we might be in full agreement when it is all said and done.

Hi Aaron,

I guess so, but I have also success with my 95/5 % rule and that is
with programmers who's comfort zone is QCLSRC and QRPGSRC ;-)
