Installed a PTF for Zend Server this week. We installed 5.0.2 and are
running PHP 5.3. Got hit pretty quickly by a snag in Easycom. Appears
that when calling a program it now expects the length parameter to be a
string with a decimal position when working with packed fields (possibly
zoned, but haven't tried). Before, if the field did not have decimal
positions, passing in a literal integer was allowed for the length.
Zend you guys might want to find out if this is a bug or by design. We
just started having several calls fail with "decimal data errors". Sadly,
this isn't the first time Easycom has changed parameters and not told
anyone so I immediately suspected it happened again. I was right.
