I agree. The current situation works well, but just makes it easier to run existing AIX software. For a real change to happen, more is needed.


Well, it's quiet easy to set up a Linux partition. It's no different than having a Linux machine on your network. Sure, it's not quite as convenient as being able to fire up a PASE job with an RPG call, but as long as you have a decent communications infrastructure it's just as good.
