There is a WebSphere Info Center. Here is a link to an install doc for WAS 7.0 on i:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wasinfo/v7r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.websphere.installation.express.iseries.doc/info/iseriesexp/ae/welc6topinstalling.html

Earlier this year, I installed WAS 7.0 Express on a 515 at V6R1. It went smoothly. Follow the instructions exactly, don't skip steps. My recollection is that the wizard-based install running from Windows worked well.

Are there detailed instructions on how to install Websphere Application
Server 7 on IBM i?
I tried the redbook "WebSphere Application Server V7: Concepts, Planning
and Design" but the installation section there was a wasteland. This
redbook didn't look any better "WebSphere Application Server V7
Administration and Configuration Guide".
