I didn't even think about that. Zend probably is quite happy on a number of
fronts - not just IBMi.

The thing I really liked about Java is I could use it at three different
locations - JME, JSE, JEE - without switching languages. Too bad PHP wasn't
at multiple levels. Python maybe? Where's Han's Bolt when you need him :-)

I do wonder how IBM is going to deal with this one......I'm guessing it
will be some time before much changes, but since I am finding the Zend
Framework to be every bit as powerful (albeit nearly as difficult to get
your arms around) as the Java frameworks there may be some migration
happening. Particularly as the article infers that there may be some
licensing questions in the near future.

This will be fun....
