There's been quite a bit of discussion about jQuery lately, so I figured
it wouldn't hurt to recommend a great "getting started" book for jQuery
from O'Reilly, named jQuery Cookbook, isbn 978-0-596-15977-1. It's got a
section on jQuery UI too.
There's also a jQuery plugin for Eclipse. I don't know if it will work
in the Rational IDE. I run it in Helios, which works fine in my
environment, maybe not so good in yours. If you add the full
(non-minified) jQuery library as a project resource, it helps you out
with methods, just like java. Pretty slick.
