Thanks, Sam. I'll see if I can source the LPPs now.

Brian,

The Zend Server installation process is checking the product pre-requisite and it found an issue with the following required LP 5733SC1:
Product information not found.
Product:5733SC1 Release:V5R4M0 option:0001 information can not be retrieved

The possible LP issues are:
1. The LP 5733SC1 does not exist
2. The LP 5733SC1 is installed but its version is lower than the OS version installed

Subject: [WEB400] Zend Server Install Issues

Hi All,

I took a second crack at installing the Zend server which resulted in another aborted attempt. I followed the directions as per the install instructions that came with the SAVF, but I have had no luck in getting the thing to install.

Here's what I see in the job logs when I try to perform an interactive install:
5 > rstlicpgm licpgm(2ZSVRPI) DEV(*SAVF) SAVF(QGPL/ZSVRSAVF)
Object ZENDSBS in library ZENDSVR not found.
Data area ZSVR created in library QTEMP.
Object ANSWER in QTEMP type *DTAARA not found.

Exit program processing failed.
Product 2ZSVRPI option *BASE release *FIRST not processed.
*PGM objects for product 2ZSVRPI option *BASE release *FIRST not restored.
Objects for product 2ZSVRPI option *BASE release *FIRST not restored.

So the first failure is the lack of mySQL (which is fine, as I have no intention of using mySQL, but rather my db2 install).

Anyone have any idea why this keeps failing and what I can do to get it installed?

Thanks.
