No worries. Ironically, I just attempted to double check my reference on the CGI vs DB connection recommendation and the YiPs site is down. Apparently something is severely broken on my host machine as they tell me it will be back up at noon tomorrow.

In any case, he is the primary developer in the project and also the
one who put in the recommendation of using the stored procedure
interface for production workloads. I see Alan has passed this thread
on to him so I will let him address it.
That sounds good. I'm not trying to come across as confrontational, and I apologize if it sounded that way. I just don't understand [allegedly Tony's] recommendation for using "the stored procedure interface" vs. "the CGI interface" for "production workloads"; for performance reasons. And I haven't actually found that recommendation on the YIPs site?
The WIKI at YIPs refers to 3 interface options:
1. ODBC/QZDASOINIT.
2. CGI.
3. DRDA.
All of which use a "stored procedure" interface for evoking procedures in XMLSERVICE.PGM.
