We've actually worked with two clients Nathan who used to prove to the "dark side" that they could play the webservice game. In one case, because they already had a program that performed 95% of the requested task, they were able to turn the request around so fast that the Windows team were the ones slowing things down because they couldn't get their side of the code working fast enough.
I think one of the more important aspects about XMLSERVICE is it makes us all think of different ways in which things could be done.
