I believe that i5_seek is in the category of record level access and for that there is no replacement other than a SQL Select where ...
record level stuff is the only thing the new toolkit doesn't support if I recall correctly.

Yeah, I'm so used to thinking in RPG, that I just wanted to do a CHAIN. I replaced it with SQL in about the same time I've spent sending emails about it, and the whole page still loads almost twice as fast as the one on the production server that is a faster system (though it does have thousands of users doing other things unlike the development box.)
