Hopefully this will help others if they hit the same issue I had when
trying to get zend framework 2 running on the iSeries.

There is an issue in the PHP standard function "glob" that is being used
by Zend Server on the iSeries.
The AIX function does not use the current working directory. This causes
zend framework 2 to not pull in the config/autoload files unless you
point config_glob_paths to the absolute path of the config files.

I've added this to my application.config.php and it is working for me.

'module_listener_options' => array(
'config_glob_paths' => array(
( !defined('GLOB_BRACE') ? getcwd().'/' :
'').'config/autoload/{,*.}{global,local}.php',

I added the check for GLOB_BRACE since that is what is causing the
underlining issue. However if you just add this it will also work:
getcwd().'/config/autoload/{,*.}{global,local}.php',

We are still waiting on a ZF2 database adapter for IBM DB2. Hopefully it
will come in the next release of ZF2.

This is related to issue 2468 on zf2's github page.
