Not quite. The Apache instance record in QATMHINSTC dictates the root
folder for the server

For example, here it would be /myroot:

-apache -d /myroot -f conf/myconf.conf -AutoStartY

You then need to check in
/myroot/conf/myconf.conf

Look for the document root directive. For example

DocumentRoot /myroot/mydocs

So now, if you have
href="styles.css"

then it will look for styles.css in /myroot/mydocs

If you have
href="css/styles.css"

then it will look in /myroot/mydocs/css

etc

Where you tell it to look?

I think the default folder is HTDOCS if you don't have any special
directives for that.

I have an RPG program that reads HTML source from a source member and
writes it to stdout ( QTmhWrStout ).

When the HTML source contains a <link rel="stylesheet"
href="styles.css" /> statement, where will apache look for the
styles.css file?

thanks,
