I throw this out as a pattern for database maintenance that is efficient, effective, and productive from an end-user's point of view. It seems that the vast majority of browser based DB maintenance interfaces that one sees in the wild are rather primitive in comparison.
Many of the mouse and keyboard options may not be apparent at first blush. But once you become aware of them, they are quite handy and helpful. For example, try Ctrl-Click to select multiple rows, then press F2 to activate "Change" mode.
