Have you considered using XMLSERVICE instead?​

XMLSERVICE doesn't suffer from a number of ailments that PCML+IWS
does (i.e. "Can't imagine being restricted to not being able to
return anything but 4-byte integers." this isn't an issue in
XMLSERVICE)
