In v 7.x of the OS there is support added to enable/disable either/or TLSv11 and TLSv12. The API axiscStubSetSecure () prototype for RPG has been enhanced by adding two last parameters: pTLSv11Cipher and pTLSv12Cipher. It would be nice if there were a fix that does the same in v 6.1

Subject: [WEB400] WS client using TLS1.1 /1.2 for OS V6.1
I have developed a web service client written in RPG on Ibm i version 6.1 now running on a few sites. The service must now be able to connect to a server over TLS 1.1 or/and TLS 1.2. I cannot find any support for that. Is there a fix that will do it, or will the customer using the WS client have to upgrade to version 7?
