Sounds like the server program isn't in a library in the library list of
the CGI job...

There are two choices when binding to a srvpgm...using DSPPGM
DETAIL(*SRVPGM), you can see:
Service
Program Library
ITMCHNGSRV xxxxxx
QRNXIE QSYS
QRNXIO QSYS
QRNXUTIL QSYS
QLEAWI QSYS

where xxxx is either a library name, or *LIBL.

My guess is yours is *LIBL and the library the SRVPGM is in is not in the
library list at the time of the call.

I'm stumped.
I have a CGI ILE program (Websmart) that I just added a service program
call to.
When I call the program via the URL it executes correctly. On a form I have
two ajax calls - the first gets a description of an item. It executes
correctly. The second gets a status so that I can then determine whether or
not additional data needs to be collected. This second ajax call fails - I
get a 500 error and in the apache error log I see a line to see the joblog.
When I look at the job log I see a QZSRHTTPTR file. And the job log
includes:
Message . . . . : Cannot resolve to object ITMCHNGSRV. Type and Subtype
X'0203' Authority X'0000'.
This is my service program.
We use IBM authorization in our Apache Config. And to confuse matters
further we have used WEBSMART ILE for years. We are now adding PHP to the
mix. We recently changed our apache configuration to use both. I don't
know if we whacked something in the config or if this is just a red
herring???
My guess is that the program is somehow being executed different on the
second ajax call - but I'm unsure how to verify this.
Any thoughts?Thanks.Vicki Wilson
