- Python from perzl.org ~might~ work on V5R4.

- http://spaces.litmis.com is free to use. It's an IBM i in the cloud to
be used for Node.js/Ruby/Python/Git/PASE learning. Here are two free
training courses (the ones I use at conferences):
bit.ly/litmislearn-nodejsintro and bit.ly/litmislearn-rubyonrailsintro

- <vendor> Krengeltech is now offering cost effective IBM i hosting
starting at $157/month litmis.com/spaces to learn more. Can be used for
commercial purposes.</vendor>

for this I was trying to play with RPGui (simple and without expenses .
only time and wish to learn.)

Understanding ~how~ RPGUI works will benefit you in all future web dev in
any language. Mostly because RPGUI is fairly bare-bones.

I'm agree with this

my intention is to learn how to write Web application that use Javascript
(ExtJs/JQuery) and RPGLE; I saw/know that in this last time IBM I , can run
node.js and other open source product, but for the moment we are still on
V5R4, so I can use that. So for the moment (waiting for a new Ibm with V7Rx
.. hi hoper next year) I would like to write something with RPGLE that run
on the Web .. for this I was trying to play with RPGui (simple and without
expenses . only time and wish to learn.) keep in mind that for now I know
enough about Web Service and well RPGLE .. few HTML . but I'm available to
study new technology (Jquery or other)

Thanks for your availability
