The new install can co-exist - this one will install as Zend Server 8.

Other answer in my Midrange response.

Don't use the IBM download - it will almost certainly be out of date. The Zend download will also install as an LPP.

I need to download and install the latest version of Zend for IBM i.
From what I found this would be Zend Server for I 8.5.
Is this correct?
I can obtain this from IBM I evaluation and NLV download site or from the Zend site http://www.zend.com/en/solutions/modernize-ibm-i

Which would be better and is there a difference?

If I go with the IBM site,
Would I use option 11. Install licensed programs or RSTLICPGM?
Where do I find the LPP identifier for this new version of Zend?

I currently have 6ZSVRPI *INSTALLED Zend Server for IBM i 6.1.0 ( PHP 5.4 ) installed,
Do I have to delete and/or remove the current Zend product first?
Or will this be a new install?

Thank You
