If you view the HTML source when viewing the email, does <img> have a src
attribute pointing to the image location or the actual image data in it.
The latter would look like:

If the latter, does your original HTML email point to the fully qualified
path to the image? I'm just curious about this image embedding is all.

Maybe if you want to send your original img tag from your html and the one
that is in the email, that will make things more clear. :)
