What are you having problems with? Your RPG program should have a
primitive input parameter (char, int, etc), and as you deploy, assuming
you leave the parameters as unwrapped, you can choose to have the input
parameter to be inserted from a data source, including query parameter. If
you choose query parameter, you will need to specify the identifier (query
parameter name) and whether you want a default value if it is not
specified.

Not sure there is much more to it.
