Re: Silly question: HTML 5

HTML5 is far more than just HTML4 + a few new tags.

I just sent a post (this thread) identifying an HTML5 API that may require some Apache .htaccess configuration.

I don't use HTML5 beyond the new tags myself. But, the more someone dives into the family of APIs and technologies that is HTML5, the more that person might run into something that requires adjustments in Apache.

HTML5 is just different HTML syntax. In the end your webserver is still sending plain text to the client. You should be fine to host HTML5 on IBMi Apache.
